CHURCH OF S'AGARÓ - LA GAVINA

The church of Mare de Déu de l'Esperança, is the work of Francesc Folguera. Building began in 1941 and the church was consecrated July 16, 1942.

It is in Neobarroco style, with gothic elements (the arches of the outside cloister and the two tombs from the Castle of Foixà), from the abbey of Sant Francesc de Girona. Inside there're mural paintings by the painter Joan Colom, living in S'Agaró - La Gavina.   

Es de estilo neobarroco, aunque hay elementos góticos (los arcos del claustro exterior y los dos sepulcros procedentes del castillo de Foixà), del convento de Sant Francesc de Girona. Al interior hay pinturas murales, obras del pintor Joan Colom, establecido en S’Agaró- La Gavina.
